1/3/2021: The turn out was great for the bowling tournament, with over 40 teams participating. Thanks to Pat Nugent for sticking around to the finish and taking some great shots of the tournament. Also, a big shout out to Fletcher Sharp and the American Legion, Plano Post 321 for providing the color guard and taps player. Another shout out to Paul Hendricks representing the VCONT for his participation in leading the pledge of allegiance during the opening ceremony.

8/3/2021: The Vietnam Veterans of American (VVA), McKinney Chapter 1122 made a $200 dollar cash donation to the St Jude Catholic Church, St Brigid’s Needle Arts Ministry for needle work supplies. The ladies in the ministry make hats, bags, wheelchair lap blankets and afghans for veterans in the Allen area. Geno Marascio made the presentation on behalf of the McKinney VVA Chapter 1122 to Isabell Pumilia for the purchase of additional materials so they can keep supporting our local veterans.

9/1/2021: We received a donation of 134 wreaths to our 2021 Wreaths Across America campaign from Paralyzed Veterans of America! This is a wonderful showing of respect for our brothers and sisters at DFW National Cemetery!

11/4/2021: Geno and Jim manned a booth soliciting donations to Wreaths Across America, at Larkspur Senior Living.


11/10/2021: Our member Richard Lerma was presented with medals he earned but never physically received, by Congressman Van Taylor.


11/14/2021: Veterans Bowling Tournament
